How it works
From shirt to serve to support.
One Serve ID follows you through registration, your shirt order, your video entry and your fundraising.

Discover and register
Fill in the Join the Serve Challenge form. You give your name, contact details, Facebook name and shirt order ID, and tick the consent and release box. You get your Serve ID, for example SC-1024.

Purchase the official shirt
Buy the official tee in the Watering Seeds store; every entrant needs one. Your receipt has an order ID. Add it to your registration and to your entry caption so we can match your purchase to your entry.

Receive your campaign instructions
A confirmation email or text brings your Serve ID, order confirmation, the Facebook Group link, a filming guide, the official hashtag, Givebutter instructions, a sample caption and the campaign deadline.

Create your fundraiser
Activate your own page inside the official Givebutter campaign and share your personal donation link with friends, family, colleagues and tennis partners. Gifts are credited to your page and all of them count for Watering Seeds.

Join and post in the Facebook Group
Membership questions ask for your name, registration email, Serve ID and agreement to the rules. Post your serve video using the official entry caption below. Moderators check every entry before it becomes official.

Share and fundraise
Once your entry is approved, share the post to your profile and other channels with your personal Givebutter link, so supporters can watch, cheer and donate.
Official entry format
Use this caption exactly.
Post your video directly in the private Facebook Group with this caption. Replace the bracketed parts with your own name, shirt order ID and donation link. Entrants get one video; for another, donate $10 for three additional serves. Moderators check each entry against this format before approving it.
Why post straight to Facebook? There is nothing to upload to a form or drive, and every approved entry is instantly a shareable campaign video. If you cannot use Facebook, the support form covers exceptions.

Filming your serves
- Find a tennis court and set up the target (a standard tennis ball can).
- Record three serves aimed at the can. Film from the returner’s side of the court, from behind the can. Record in real time, with no edits.
- Donate $10 for three additional serves if you want them.
- Complete a community service act or encourage someone else to serve.
- Post your video and invite others to take part using the hashtag #ServeChallenge.
Nominate friends. Finish your post with “I am nominating: @FriendName1 @FriendName2” to pass the challenge on.
